Also, please be aware that there are fake model scouts that pretend to operate on behalf of legitimate agents. If you are approached by such a model scout always ask for them to provide you with ID. Having established the identity of the scout, call the agency involved to check that the person on the identification really works for that agency. Only agree to meet a model scout at the agencies offices and verify their address independently before you go there.
